What we use
ResellMark uses your account details, inventory and user-supplied purchase costs, product events, and subscription status to provide, secure, and improve your private workspace. We do not sell personal data.
Connected eBay data
If an eligible ResellMark Plus customer chooses Connected eBay, eBay OAuth tokens are encrypted and used to retrieve supported listing, order, financial-transaction, and limited eligibility information for that account. Normal Connected eBay use is read-only and does not make changes to the eBay account. ResellMark does not request or store buyer identities for the separately controlled offer workflow. A confirmed offer action and its outcome are retained as an audit record; no offer is sent automatically.
Payments
Stripe is our payment processor for hosted checkout, recurring billing, and billing management. Stripe receives payment details directly. ResellMark does not store full card numbers or security codes.
Uploaded-file privacy
Buyer names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and payment identifiers are not needed for listing analysis and are stripped or ignored when detected. Raw uploads follow the temporary retention described on Data handling.
Mark, ResellMark’s AI assistant
Generic questions that use Mark’s AI model may use OpenAI’s API. For those questions, the conversation content needed to answer the request is processed through OpenAI’s API. OpenAI acts as an AI service provider and processor. Supported account-specific questions are answered locally by ResellMark and are not sent to OpenAI. Connected eBay account data and account-specific imported snapshot facts are not sent to OpenAI.
OpenAI does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models by default unless the API organization opts in. NivdoX AI has not opted in to that voluntary input/output sharing. Mark requests use store=false, so Responses application state is not stored for later retrieval. OpenAI may still retain limited request and response content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its standard API data controls. ResellMark does not currently claim Zero Data Retention.
OpenAI processing may occur through its infrastructure and subprocessors in multiple countries. For EEA data, OpenAI’s DPA provides for processing by OpenAI Ireland Ltd. and appropriate transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions where applicable.
Mark does not support file attachments. Do not enter passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, payment-card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive third-party personal information. Mark cannot send email, create support tickets, browse, or perform account or marketplace actions, and it does not automatically send your conversation to human support.
ResellMark does not permanently store Mark conversation text in its database. Recent Mark conversation text is kept temporarily in your current browser or app session using bounded browser-side sessionStorage, so it can survive navigation or reload during that session. It is cleared when the session ends or your authenticated identity changes, including when you sign out. ProductEvent analytics may record limited technical metadata such as response status, latency range, model, and token count, but do not record Mark message or response text.
Affiliate accounts and referrals
If you join the ResellMark Affiliate Program, we use your name, email, password hash, email-verification state, Agreement acceptance, referral and commission records, and the minimum payout administration details needed to operate and secure your Affiliate account. Payout details are requested separately when operationally needed; they are not required during public signup.
When you follow a valid active Affiliate link, ResellMark asks whether it may remember that referral in the signed first-party resellmark_affiliate_attribution cookie for up to 90 days. The persistent cookie is stored only after your explicit consent. You may continue without allowing it and may remove it before signup through Affiliate attribution preferences. If you create a new account while a valid consented referral remains, ResellMark records which affiliate referred you. We use that relationship to administer referral commissions, prevent fraud, support accounting, and operate the Program. Authoritative attribution is established at account creation without relying on a third-party advertising tracker.
The Affiliate may see limited, privacy-minimized referral and performance information needed to understand referral status and commission. The Affiliate does not receive your connected eBay data, inventory, orders, sales, detailed financial data, passwords, payment credentials, or unnecessary private account information.
Service providers and deletion
Render hosts the application and database, Resend delivers account email, Stripe processes billing, and eBay supplies connected marketplace data when you authorize it. We keep normalized account and inventory records while needed to provide the service and meet security, accounting, or legal obligations. Raw upload retention is described on Data handling. Disconnecting eBay removes stored credentials; eBay account-deletion notifications are processed through our registered deletion endpoint. You may contact us to request account-data deletion.
